Section A Section A is where the most notorious dark witches and wizards are held. These dangerous witches and wizards will have murdered people and used the unforgivable curses and other dark magic to get what they wanted. Found in the highest levels of the prison, Section A has the maximum security. For those prisoners who are the most dangerous and likely to escape, the Dementors that have remained are used as guards. |

Section B Section B is for those witches and wizards who have performed crimes not nearly as heinous as those in Section A, however they're still pretty bad. Crimes range from attempted murder, torture, kidnapping, explosive potion making, the inappropriate use of dangerous magical creatures, and other dangerous things. Section B is on the levels below Section B and more towards the middle of the prison. There is still tight security but Dementors are not necessary. |

Section C Section C is for those have committed minor crimes, such as theft, assault, drug/dangerous potion dealing, magical creature and other kinds of smuggling, etc. These prisoners are located on the lower levels of the prison towards the ground level. Section D Section D technically does not exist. According to Ministry files, there are only unused dungeons beneath the ground level of the prison. What people don't know can't hurt them, right? Secret things are performed down in these dungeons beneath the water level. If a prisoner ends up down here, it's usually for an unknown reason. And if they do end up down here, they usually don't return. |
